‘Guru’ – gu + ru. ‘Gu’ refers to the darkness assuming the form of ignorance. ‘ru’ refers to radiance in the form of the spiritual knowledge which dispels this darkness. Thus, Guru is the one who dispels the darkness of ignorance through His radiance of Spiritual knowledge.

“Acquire the transcendental knowledge from a Self-realised master by humble reverence, by sincere inquiry, and by service. The wise ones who have realised the Truth will impart the knowledge to you” thus speaks Krishna to Arjuna the importance of finding a Guru.

Puja, is a ritual form like a thread to connect physical world with the subtle inner world. It helps to keep oneself in harmony with the cosmic forces, thereby removing and overcoming the sorrows of life. Therefore, it is important for every humanbeing to build this connection with a right Guru who shows us the Path of Divine Self. This is the ultimate purpose of one’s existence as a humanbeing in this world.

Guru pooja can be performed everyday or atleast weekly once , Thursdays (an auspicious day for guru).

Sadguru Yogiramsuratkumar Panchagam, Ashtothram, Mangalam and Arathi composed by Mataji Suchindram Rajalakshmi , can be chanted with full devotion, faith and surrender to fetch the fullest Grace of our Divine Master.
